The device comprises a combined optical unit, a finger induction unit and an image acquisition unit, wherein the combined optical unit can change the optical path to reduce the linear distance for image transmission; the image acquisition unit controls the output of an IR light source, and includes a CMOS sensor for picking up the images of vein texture features; and the images are acquired by a camera and then transmitted to a host computer for conducting the recognition algorithm through a USB port. The reflective finger vein feature acquisition device can recognize the living body from the nonliving body, has no residues, is difficult to be imitated and has little possibility to damage the features. Therefore, the method becomes the novel biological feature and identity authentication technique after the fingerprint recognition, is the advanced technique in the biological feature identification field, and is more suitable for the personal identity authentication as the living biological code.
