An endoscope device configured in such a manner that a bending section is operated and bent by operation of a bending manipulation section and that the endoscope device is provided with an operation section. An endoscope device having improved operability. The endoscope device comprises: an endoscope (16) which is provided with an insertion section (17) to be inserted into a lumen, and also with a manipulation section (24) which is connected to the insertion section (17) and is gripped and manipulated by the operator; a bending section (19) which is provided to the insertion section (17) and is operated and bent; an operation section (32) which is operated; a bending manipulation section (28) which is provided to the manipulation section (24) and is movable in a predetermined fundamental direction relative to the manipulation section (24), the bending manipulation section (28) being movable in an additional direction different from the fundamental direction; a bending drive mechanism (50) which operates and bends the bending section (19) according to the movement of the bending manipulation section (28) in the fundamental direction relative to the manipulation section (24); and drive units (60; 70) for operating the operation section (32) according to the movement of the bending manipulation section (28) in the additional direction relative to the manipulation section (24).
