Abstract

Methods and systems associated with personal cloud computing (PCC) are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, a method may include receiving, by a PCC client device, a message from a PCC server. The message may include information for migrating a session of an application executing on another PCC client device away from the other client device. In response, the client device may launch an application to migrate the session onto the client device using the information contained in the message. In an embodiment, the PCC server may be configured to receive from a PCC client device a request to migrate a session of an application executing on the client device away from the client device; and in response, send a message to another PCC client device , the other PCC client device is equipped to launch an application on the other client device to migrate the session to the other client device. This message may contain information for migration. Other embodiments are also disclosed and claimed.
