The method includes: when back pressure overruns a predetermined value in case of low unit operational load and decreased return water temperature in the 3mmMW high back pressure unit system, increasing the unit operational load until the back pressure is lower than the predetermined value; when the back pressure overruns the predetermined value in case of high unit operational load and increased return water temperature in the 300MW high back pressure unit system, decreasing the unit operational load until the back pressure is lower than the predetermined value. The method has the advantages that the back pressure is adjusted according to different unit operational loads and return water temperatures, and safe economical operation of 300MW high back pressure units in a case of heat supply network failure is achieved effectively.
