Abstract

The invention provides a plugging agent for petroleum drilling. The plugging agent for petroleum drilling is composed of the following components: 60-80 parts of component A, namely, calcium carbonate and/or barium carbonate, 15-25 parts of component B, namely, lime powder and/or G-grade cement, and 5-15 parts of component C, namely, fibre materials, wherein preferably, the component A is particles with a particle size of 150-250 microns; the component B is powder with a particle size of greater than 0-150 microns; the length of the component C is 1-2 mm. The invention further provides preparation and application methods for the plugging agent. The plugging agent provided by the invention is simple in ingredients and preparation method, for example, the acid solubility can achieve more than 97.5%, thus facilitating acidification unplugging; the plugging agent can be independently used for plugging while drilling or matched with other bridging materials, and used in large and medium loss plugging work.
