The liquid crystal composition disclosed by the invention has excellent properties, and has the characteristics of wide nematic-phase temperature range, proper positive dielectric anisotropy, proper optical anisotropy, very high charge retentivity, high response speed, low rotary viscosity, low consumed power and the like. The composition is applicable to liquid crystal display, and is especially suitable for quick-response active matrix TN-TFT (twisted nematic thin film transistor) and IPS-TFT (in-plane switching-thin film transistor) display devices.
