Embodiment Construction

[0032] Different embodiments are described below. In no way is this meant to be limited to the illustrated embodiments. Various other embodiments are also possible. Also hereinafter the term air is used as a synonym for all fluids or gases.

[0033] figure 1 The middle indicates hearing aid 2. It is connected to the ear piece 6 via the sound tube 4 . A pump 12 is provided in the hearing aid. It generates a pressure which is transmitted to a variable-volume element 18 via a valve device 14 and a channel 16 . The variable-volume element 18 is similar to an air bag, which can be inflated by means of pressure and vice versa. For this purpose, air is preferably pumped as a medium into or out of the variable-volume element 18 . The pressure is correspondingly an overpressure or a negative pressure.

[0034] The prescribed procedure for use is that the user first inserts the earpiece 6 with the uninflated variable volume element 18 into the canal of his ear. The hearing aid ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a pump 302 for a hearing aid earpiece, which can be placed in contact with a variable volume element 304 of the earpiece by means of a channel 306 so that a medium can be flowed by the pump 302 through said channel 306 to the variable volume element 304. The medium is supplied to the variable-volume element 304 through the channel 306 by a filling mechanism 310 designed for pumping. In addition, a discharge mechanism ( 320 ) designed for pumping actively discharges the medium from the variable volume element 304 through the channel 306 .

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a pump for hearing aid earpieces. Here, a hearing aid refers to any sound-transmitting device that can be worn in or on the ear or on the head, such as hearing aids, earphones, headsets, etc. Background technique [0002] Hearing aids are portable hearing aids that are used by people who are hard of hearing. In order to cater to many individual needs, hearing aids of different structures are prepared, such as behind-the-ear hearing aids (HdO), hearing aids with external earphones (RIC: receiver in the canal) and in-ear hearing aids (IdO), such as Concha (concha ) hearing aids or Kanal (small ear tube) hearing aids (ITE, CIC). These hearing aids, listed as examples, are worn on the outer ear or in the ear canal. Also on the market are bone conduction sound hearing aids, implantable or vibrotactile hearing aids. Where stimulation of impaired hearing is performed either mechanically or electrically. [0003] In many hearing a...
