Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting a port and a link of an optical fiber electronic distribution frame. The method comprises the steps that an optical fiber plug is plugged into an optical fiber socket; a detecting module is plugged to the position below the optical fiber socket; the connection condition between a first detecting terminal and a copper piece is detected so that the plugging connection condition between the optical fiber plug and the optical fiber socket can be judged; the link of the optical fiber plug is detected through two pairs of link detecting lines located in the optical fiber plug plugged into a front socket body and a rear socket body; the detecting module further comprises a second detecting terminal and a second detecting terminal contact sheet; when the optical fiber plug is plugged into the optical fiber socket, the second detecting terminal contact sheet is pressed downwards and whether the second detecting terminal contact sheet is connected with the second detecting terminal or not is detected at the same time so that whether the detecting module operates normally or not can be judged. The accuracy of the detection process is guarnteed through three detection modes, and maintenance personnel can conveniently locate the optical fiber plug which is infirmly plugged into the corresponding socket.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of optical fibers, in particular to a port and link detection method of an optical fiber electronic distribution frame. Background technique [0002] The optical fiber electronic distribution frame is a modular device used for the central office to manage the front-end information points. After the front-end information point cable enters the equipment room, it first enters the distribution frame, and the cable is placed on the module of the distribution frame, and then the patching frame and the switch are connected with jumper wires. If there is no patch panel, the cable will need to be re-routed if there is a problem. [0003] However, due to the large number of optical fibers plugged on the patch panel, during the long-term use process or the initial plugging process, some or a certain optical fiber may not be firmly plugged and fall off. Precisely locate the dislodged fiber optic plug in the fiber opt...
