[0035] Taking 8 different varieties of raisins as an example, the hyperspectral images of raisins were collected, and the spectral range covered 921-1680nm, with a total of 226 spectral bands.

[0036] (1) if figure 1 The 8 kinds of grapes shown are a rock sugar heart, b black currant, c red grape, d rose purple, e horse milk, f desert king, g Xiangfei, f yacon. The hyperspectral images of the above 8 different varieties of raisins were collected, and the spectral range of the collected hyperspectral images covered 921-1680nm.

[0037] Each pixel of the hyperspectral image can obtain a spectral curve, which contains 226 spectral data, and the example spectral curves of 8 kinds of raisins are as follows: figure 2 shown.

[0038] (2) Select 500 pixels for each type of raisin, and perform Fourier waveform decomposition on the corresponding spectral curve. The spectral curve of a single pixel can be decomposed into 226 sinusoidal waveforms, and the 5 waveforms with the largest...

Abstract

The invention provides a hyperspectral image compression method and application. The method comprises the following steps: (1) extracting a spectral curve of the target zone pixel of a hyperspectral image; (2) carrying out discrete Fourier transform to the spectral curve, and decomposing the spectral curve into a plurality of linear-combination trigonometric function waves; and (3) selecting the first p trigonometric function waves with the maximum amplitude, which corresponds to each pixel, extracting the amplitudes, the frequencies and the initial phases of the p trigonometric function waves, and combining to serve as a characteristic value of the pixel, wherein p is a natural number less than or equal to 5. Through the Fourier transform, the characteristic values of each pixel are reduced to 3*p, the original characteristic value length and the waveband number of each pixel are the same, a compression ratio is high, and precision regulation can be realized by changing the value of p. The invention is used for object classification and has the advantages of being simple in data handling capacity, easy in implementation and high in identification precision.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an image processing method, in particular to a hyperspectral image compression method and its application. Background technique [0002] Hyperspectral images have high spectral resolution and can solve problems that multispectral cannot solve, so they are of great significance in the fields of military reconnaissance, target recognition, and battlefield situation assessment. However, higher spectral resolution is at the cost of larger data volume. For typical hyperspectral data AVIRIS, an image has about 140M bytes (512 rows, 614 columns, 224 bands, each pixel 2 bytes). The massive data of hyperspectral images brings great difficulties to storage and transmission, and becomes a factor restricting the further development of hyperspectral remote sensing, so the compression of hyperspectral images is particularly necessary. [0003] CN 102156998A discloses a hyperspectral image compression method, including: performing hierarchi...
