Abstract

The invention provides a socket connector which is used for connecting with a plug connector in a butt-joint manner. The socket connector comprises the components of: a socket body, a socket housing and a plurality of socket terminals which are accommodated in the socket body. The socket housing comprises a top wall, a bottom wall and two side walls for connecting the top wall with the bottom wall. Each side wall of the socket housing is provided with an opening and an elastic sheet which backwards and inwards extends in the opening. The elastic sheet is arranged in a trapezoidal shape. The bottom wall of the socket housing is provided with ribs which project to the top wall of the socket housing. The ribs extend in a butt-jointing direction between the socket connector and the plug connector.
