The travelling time prediction method comprises the steps of: estimating the traffic state of a specific journey in a time segment next to current time according to historical data and real-time data; establishing a time-varying dynamic linear model influenced by the traffic state, wherein a time-varying parameter manifests the dynamic property of traffic flow and a self-adjusting factor manifests the random property of the traffic flow; and adjusting the time-varying parameter in the time-varying dynamic linear model according to the estimated traffic state so as to predict the travelling time of the specific journey in the next time segment.
