Abstract

The invention discloses a portable electronic device, which comprises a substrate, a display module and a keyboard module, wherein the display module is installed on the substrate in a sliding way, the keyboard module is installed on the substrate, and the display module can slide between a collapsing position where the keyboard module is sheltered and an opening position where the keyboard module is exposed by being relative to the substrate. The portable electronic device also comprises an infrared positioning device which is movably installed on the substrate, wherein the infrared positioning device can move between a first position and a second position by being relative to the substrate; a positioning area is surrounded by the infrared positioning device, and the infrared positioning device can carry out input positioning on the display module or the keyboard module which falls into the positioning area; when the display module is positioned on the collapsing position, the infrared positioning device moves to the first position so as to enable the display module to fall into the positioning area; and when the display module is positioned on the opening position, the infrared positioning device moves to the second position so as to enable the keyboard module to fall into the positioning area.
