Abstract

The invention provides a type setting method of word files. The method includes that office open extensive markup language (OOXML) description of file content of the word files is obtained; the OOXML description is converted to an Xml structure that can be recognized by type setting software by means of extensible stylesheet language transformation (xslt); the Xml structure is guided into the type setting software. The invention provides a type setting device of the word files. The type setting device comprises an OOXML module, an XML module and a guiding-in module, wherein the OOXML module is used for obtaining the OOXML description of the file content of the word files, the XML module is used for converting the OOXML description to the Xml structure that can be recognized by the type setting software by means of the xslt, and the guiding-in module is used for guiding the Xml structure into the type setting software. By means of the type setting method and device of the word files, the type setting efficiency of the word files is increased.
