Abstract

Sensing performances of a sensor node are not all the same on all directions because of miscellaneous and multi-source interference factors in an industrial environment, such as strong electromagnetic interferences, metallic mediums, multi-obstacles, and the like. The actual sensing range of the sensor node is usually a non-circular and irregular area. In order to acquire the irregular sensing area of the sensor node, this invention discloses a rapid detecting method of the irregular sensing area of the wireless sensor network node in the industrial environment, and adopts a heuristic event mobile searching and detecting method. The method comprises the steps of firstly, estimating a boundary position of a complete sensing area and a probable sensing area of the node by detecting coarse granularity to narrow the event mobile searching range; and further, detecting fine granularity of the complete sensing area by using the hierarchical heuristic event mobile method. The method effectively solves the problem that the existing carpet event mobile detecting method has high cost and low efficiency, and detects the borders of the deterministic sensing areas of the sensor node with smaller cost and quicker speed.
