The double-side color code overprinting method comprises the following steps that a packaging membrane is selected, and paper blanks used for carrying color codes with the number the same as the number of printing colors of the packaging membrane are arranged on an imposition of the packaging membrane; an original pattern is made in a computer, four front and back color codes are added to the paper blanks in a core of the imposition of the product; the distances, to the edges of the packaging membrane, of the adjacent color codes in the color codes corresponding to unified color cells are the same; a drying system is started; printing plate rollers with the color codes of all colors made are installed on printing units of a printing machine; the pressure of printing rollers of the printing units is regulated; printing tension needed by the printing machine is regulated; various parameters needed in printing are input into a display screen on the printing machine, and automatic overprinting tracking is achieved. According to the scheme, overprinting paper is saved on the premise of not influencing any overprinting quality; besides, operation is simple, no extra cost is increased, and meanwhile double-side overprinting can be achieved on the packaging membrane.
