A preparation method comprises the following steps of adding the water in a glass container, adding the sodium tungstate, and stirring for dissolving; and then sequentially adding the ethylene glycol, the ethyl alcohol, the monoethanolamine, the ammonium citrate and the zirconium carbonate, and stirring for dissolving to obtain the efficient metal corrosion inhibitor provided by the invention. The efficient metal corrosion inhibitor provided by the invention has no need to be water-washed after being used, and can be directly sprayed with oil paint, the oil paint cannot be bubbled or fallen off, and the painting film adhering capacity achieves 0 degree.
