Embodiment Construction

[0062] exist Figures 1 to 16 A first embodiment of a spray applicator for laparoscopic applications according to the present invention is illustrated in .

[0063] The basic structure of spray applicator 1 is from figure 1 derived from. The nebuliser 1 has a connecting piece 3 from which a flexible multi-lumen hose 4 extends distally in the longitudinal direction L, said multi-lumen hose 4 having four parallel, distributedly extending chambers. A spray head 5 is arranged at the distal end of the multi-lumen hose 4 . A tubular sleeve 6 (in other words, sleeve tube) surrounds the proximal region of the multi-lumen hose 4 , wherein the multi-lumen hose 4 extends distally beyond the distal end of the sleeve 6 and at the distal end of the sleeve 6 . Between the end and the nozzle 4 is exposed.

[0064] The discharge device 2 is detachably connected to the spray applicator 1 . The discharge device 2 comprises a syringe holder 21 and two syringes 22 , 23 . Each of these syring...

Abstract

The invention relates to an applicator (1) for spraying at least two components using a compressed gas in the interior of the body of a patient, said applicator being suitable in particular for laparoscopic applications. The applicator has a connecting piece (3) for connection of the applicator to two reservoirs for the components and for delivery of a compressed gas. A multi-lumen tube (4) extends from the connecting piece to a spray head (5). A flexible wire is fixed in a first lumen which extends off-centre. The applicator has at least one adapter (7). Said adapter has two tube connectors which are introduced into two further lumina. These two further lumina likewise extend off-centre and are offset in the circumferential direction from the lumen which receives the wire. A further lumen can optionally extend centrally and can receive a second wire. Identical adapters can be provided at both ends of the multi-lumen tube.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an applicator for spraying at least two components in a patient using compressed gas and an adapter for use in such an applicator. Background technique [0002] It is inconceivable without minimally invasive surgical methods in daily medical care. In this method, surgical instruments are introduced into the body through small incisions. An important category of minimally invasive methods is laparoscopy. In this method, surgical instruments are introduced through the abdominal wall into the patient's abdominal cavity in order to perform surgery on organs that are accessible from the abdominal cavity. [0003] A particular challenge in minimally invasive surgery is to stop bleeding, which can occur when surgery is performed inside the body. In particular, it is very difficult to close an incision or other injury in the body by surgical suturing, as is widely used in traditional surgical methods. [0004] In recent yea...
