Discloses a paging profiling method for determining the number of paging repetitions and the time interval between the paging repetitions. The method comprises triggering a paging profiling by causing a paging associated with one or more wireless communication devices. In some embodiments, the method may further comprise updating the pageing pattern database based on a paging profile, wherein the entry is associated with a geographic area (one or more wireless communication devices reside therein). Paging mode database may be included, for example, in the server. In some embodiments, the method may further comprise detecting the need for paging profiling by detecting that the paging pattern database is not efficient, and a response detection requires paging profiling to achieve trigger paging profiling.
