Problems solved by technology

This type of stimulation waveform has the following disadvantages: 1. The user needs to adjust to a large intensity before using it to feel the effective stimulation of the current. This feeling will be accompanied by a great tingling sensation, and then adjust to a suitable feeling according to the stimulation intensity
It is troublesome to adjust the intensity; 2. There is no high-frequency component, and the efficiency of effectively stimulating the subcutaneous vagus nerve is low

Embodiment Construction

[0022] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with specific embodiments.

[0023] The waveform generating device of the constant current transcutaneous ear vagus nerve stimulator includes a constant current control circuit and a waveform control circuit. The constant current control circuit controls the output pulse to be in a constant current mode, and the waveform control circuit controls the output pulse. The characteristics of the output pulse are: including an initial spike pulse T1, a high-level pulse T2 immediately following the initial peak pulse T1 and a low-level pulse T3 immediately following the high-level pulse T2, the high-frequency signal with a very steep edge of the initial peak pulse T1, and the initial peak pulse T1 The width is between 0.5us and 30us, and the constant current value is about 2.5mA in the initial peak pulse duration stage. The pulse level in this stage will be different according to the initial impedance of the ...

Abstract

The invention comprises a waveform generation device and method of a constant current transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation instrument. The waveform generation device includes a constant current control circuit and a waveform control circuit. The control output pulses of the constant current control circuit are in a constant current mode. The control output pulses of the waveform control circuit are characterized in that the control output pulses comprise a starting spike pulse T1; the pulse width of the starting spike pulse is smaller than the minimum time threshold value of nerve sensory cells, so that pain caused by the nerve sensory cells can be avoided; 2-5 mA current intensity causes at least 50V voltage drop under skin impedance which is about 20 to 30 k ohm, and the voltage drop can quickly reduce the skin impedance, and the starting spike pulse is a high-frequency signal with steep edges; and the high-frequency signal with steep edges can penetrate skin and enter a subcutaneous tissue. The starting spike pulse is provided, so that body impedance can be decreased fast without causing any pain, and the efficiency of stimulating subcutaneous nerves can be improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of medical devices, in particular to a waveform generating device and method for a constant-current transcutaneous ear vagus nerve stimulator. Background technique [0002] Hypertension, diabetes, epilepsy, depression, etc. are common diseases caused by neuroendocrine dysfunction. The traditional treatment method is mainly drug treatment, but long-term use of drugs has many side effects and is unavoidable. In recent years, with the development of electrophysiology, nerve electrical stimulation therapy has been proven to have definite curative effects on more than 20 kinds of neurological disorders. Among them, stimulating the vagus nerve can treat hypertension, diabetes, epilepsy, depression, etc. Disease, this is mainly because most internal organs are dually innervated and regulated by the vagus nerve and the sympathetic nerve. [0003] It has been clinically verified that electrical stimulation of the va...
