Abstract

The invention relates to a modified loess percolation system for purifying rainwater. The system comprises a rainwater collection pool and a percolation pool which are connected together. The percolation pool is connected to a reservoir I, and the reservoir I is connected to reservoirs II and III; an upper cover is arranged at the top of the percolation pool; a water intake pipe and a cable pipe are arranged at one side of the upper cover in a separated mode, and a cross beam is arranged under the cover; water spraying nozzles are hung on the cross beam; a back-flushing water intake pipe and aback-flushing air intake pipe are arranged at one side of the bottom of the percolation pool in a separated mode, and a percolation discharged water connecting pipe is arranged at the other; filter head sleeves are uniformly distributed at the upper side of the percolation pool; the percolation discharged water connecting pipe is connected to a water discharge pool, and the water discharge pool is connected to the reservoir I; the inside of the percolation pool is composed of a loess filter material layer, a quartz sand filter layer, a gravel bearing layer and a filter plate from top to bottom; back-flushing water outlets are uniformly distributed in the quartz sand filter layer; a back-flushing water collection tank and the percolation pool are connected to a back-flushing water discharge pool; the back-flushing water discharge pool is connected to a back-flushing reservoir; and the back-flushing reservoir is connected to the rainwater collection pool via a back-flushing water discharge pipe.
