Control method for sporadic plaques of spartina alterniflora in coastal wetland

A technology of Spartina alterniflora and wetlands, applied in botanical equipment and methods, monitoring of invasive species, climate sustainability, etc., can solve the lack of fast, effective and safe control methods, and the inapplicability of coastal wetlands to control Spartina alterniflora Weeds, low weeding rate and other problems, to achieve the effect of reducing environmental and ecological risks, low cost, and thorough weeding

Problems solved by technology

In my country, in 2011, Sheng Qiang and others carried out an experiment that spraying Spartina alterniflora could be treated by spraying Spartina alterniflora in the south of Chongming, Shanghai. It is not suitable for the treatment of Spartina alterniflora in coastal wetlands, mainly because the influence of factors such as hydrological process and pesticide application methods on the control effect are not considered.
Therefore, at present, there is still a lack of rapid, effective and safe treatment methods for the treatment of sporadic patches of Spartina alterniflora in coastal wetlands in my country.

Embodiment

[0041] In July 2017, in the "Chongming Dongtan Wetland Spartina alterniflora Ecological Control and Bird Habitat Optimization Project" in the Shanghai Chongming Dongtan Bird National Nature Reserve, the new beach outside the middle dike (31°35′00.85″N , 121°54'53.52″E), establish 2 longitudinal Spartina alterniflora sporadic patching prevention and control transects (length 100m, width 20m) along the seaward direction with a 200m interval. Within each transect, according to the distribution pattern and growth status of Spartina alterniflora patches, a fixed monitoring plot (2m×2m) is set every 20m from the dike to the sea, and 5 repeated plots are set in parallel, totaling 25 A fixed monitoring plot. Using the Spartina alterniflora chemical control method of the present invention, a Spartina alterniflora chemical control test was carried out on one of the sample strips, and a fixed sample of the adjacent sample strip was used as a non-application control.

Abstract

The invention discloses a control method for sporadic plaques of spartina alterniflora in a coastal wetland, and is control for the sporadic plaques of the spartina alterniflora which is newly formedor formed in the early secondary invasion stage after restoration in the coastal wetland. Hydrological change characteristics of the coastal wetland are combined, and an environmentally friendly chemical agent is timely sprayed, so that accurate, effective and rapid elimination of the sporadic plaques of invasive species of the spartina alterniflora is achieved to prevent and control further spreading, the environmental and biological risk which may be generated in a chemical process is reduced, and a necessary and clear technical support and theoretical basis are provided for remedial management of residual small plaques after early-stage intercepting and large-scale treatment of the plaques of the newly formed spartina alterniflora and rapid prevention and control of the sporadic plaquesof the spartina alterniflora in the secondary invasion. The control method only needs to be implemented once, and the weed killing rate can reach 95%; no large-scale machinery is needed to facilitateoperation, the precise prevention and control can be implemented point-to-point, and the cost is low; the environmental and biological risk which may be generated in a traditional chemical control process is avoided.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of ecological engineering, and relates to a method for treating an invasive species of Spartina alterniflora using chemical reagents in coastal wetlands. Background technique [0002] Spartinaalterniflora belongs to the genus Spartina of the Gramineae family. It is native to the Atlantic coast of America. It can be distributed in a wide climatic zone in tropical, subtropical to temperate coastal areas. It usually grows in the intertidal zone along beaches such as estuaries and bays. After invasion, monodominant populations are often formed, which affects the relationship between the functional groups in the coastal wetland ecosystem, destroys the structure and function of the ecosystem, threatens biodiversity, and even causes the local extinction of local species. It is a typical artificial introduction. The spread of invasive alien species causing ecological harm. Due to the strong resistance and invasion abili...
