101 results about "Invasive species" patented technology

An invasive species is a species that is not native to a specific location (an introduced species), and that has a tendency to spread to a degree believed to cause damage to the environment, human economy or human health.

Method for governing invasive species flower rice grass using a technique integrated by mow and regulation of level

The invention relates to a control method of spartina alterniflora, belonging to the technical field of ecological engineering. Spartina alterniflora is artificially introduced in China in the 1980s, and plays a positive role for damping waves, protecting slopes, promoting deposition and reclaiming lands on Chinese coastline, however, as an alien invasive species recognized internationally, the population characters of powerful breeding and rapid extending ability of the spartina alterniflora bring a series of negative effects to the natural wetlands ecosystem of Chinese coastal tidal land and the regional biodiversity; and control of the spartina alterniflora is already a universal problem. The prior single physical, biological or chemical control method has the disadvantages of low efficiency, high environmental pollution risk, low ecological safety, high cost and unobvious control effect. The invention overcomes the disadvantages of the prior preventing and controlling techniques, and utilizes the comprehensive control method of cradling and water level regulating, eradicates the invasive species and controls the growth and rapid extension of the invasive species through restraining the growth of spartina alterniflora, plays an active restoring role to the ecological system destroyed in large areas, and provides an efficient path for preventing spartina alterniflora from spreading extensively in coastal areas.

Specific primer pair for rapid identification of alien invasive Pomacea in China based on multiple PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) and application of specific primer pair

The invention discloses a multiple specific primer pair for assisting in identification and detection of alien invasive species of Pomacea canaliculata and Pomacea maculata and further discloses application of the multiple specific primer pair, aiming to overcome the difficulty in identifying and distinguishing Pomacea canaliculata and Pomacea maculata according to morphological characteristics because Pomacea canaliculata and Pomacea maculata are relative species with similar morphology. The specific primer pair is composed of DNA sequences expressed by a sequence 1, a sequence 2 and a sequence 3 of a sequence table. The specific primer pair can be applied to help to identity the alien invasive species of Pomacea canaliculata and Pomacea maculata molecularly without being affected by individual growth states or sample integrity, and has the advantages of high economic efficiency, convenience, accuracy and high sensitivity. The specific primer pair and the application thereof can be applied to plant protection departments and quarantine department in a wide scope and solves the problem about identification of the alien invasive species of Pomacea canaliculata and Pomacea maculata in China, which troubles the plant protection and quarantine departments for a long time.

Process for constructing river channel ecological system of hard revetment by aid of cofferdams and floating beds

The invention discloses a process for constructing a river channel ecological system of a hard revetment by the aid of cofferdams and floating beds. The process include steps of performing hydrological investigation to measure water velocities, water depths and tidal slopes, constructing a plurality of parallel cofferdams along the direction perpendicular to water flows on the sides of the hard revetment according to measured data, fixing the cofferdams by the aid of wood piles, forming ecological restoration zones among the cofferdams, arranging the floating beds on water surfaces among the cofferdams and arranging fungus membrane curtains on offshore sides of the floating beds; planting pioneer species of submerged plants in the ecological restoration zones and performing initial restoration on the ecological restoration zones; planting a plurality of extension species of submerged plants in the ecological restoration zones; performing biological diversity extension, and then regularly removing invasive species when the extension species advantageously grow in the ecological restoration zones. The process has the advantages that the water ecological system of the hard revetment can be quickly and effectively restored by the process, the cost is low, and the process is favorable for large-area popularization.

Method for removing sporobolus alterniflorus

The present invention discloses a method for removing sporobolus alterniflorus. The method for removing the sporobolus alterniflorus requires the following devices and apparatuses including a mower, arotary cultivator, a ditching and soil covering machine, an agricultural film covering machine, a mulching film perforating machine and a tree support fixer, and requires the following materials including black degradable shading films, mature plants and seedlings of avicennia marina, paulownia fortunei, rhizophora stylosa, kandelia candel and bruguiera gymnorrhiza, and several meretrix lyrata, glauconome chinensis, nassariidae and cassidula nucleus. The method for removing the sporobolus alterniflorus adopts a method of treating the sporobolus alterniflorus and then burying the treated sporobolus alterniflorus firstly and then putting the rhizophoraceae mature plants and seedlings and accompanying marine animals, completely removes the sporobolus alterniflorus, while does not affect themarine ecosystem and surrounding environment, at the same time is free of danger of introducing foreign invasive species, can establish a complete mangrove forest ecosystem and is conductive to ecological restoration of coastal beaches and shoals.
