The invention discloses a preparation method of a traditional Chinese medicine composition for treatment of acute nasopharyngitis. The preparation method includes steps: (1) taking Flos Magnoliae, Fructus Xanthii, Radix Ophiopogonis, Herba Galinsogae Parviflorae and Radix Heyneae Trijugae, adding 6-10 volumetric times of 80% ethyl alcohol, performing reflux extraction for 3 times and for 2-4 hourseach time, combining extract liquid, and concentrating to obtain liquid extract A; (2) taking canscora melastomacea, Semen Armeniacae Amarum, Folium Eriobotryae and Flos Farfarae, adding 8-12 volumetric times of pure water, heating, boiling, performing reflux extraction for 3 times and for 2-4 hours each time, combining extract liquid, and concentrating to obtain liquid extract B; (3) combining the liquid extract A and the liquid extract B, well mixing, and standing for 24-48h at the normal temperature; (4) filtering, and adding conventional auxiliary materials to obtain a liquid preparationor a solid preparation.
