The construction method of the permeable pavement comprises the steps of using multiple drainage templates on a basal layer to form a drainagefoundation, wherein water collection spaces are formed between the multiple drainage templates and the basal layer; and then laying bar-mat reinforcements on the drainage foundation; pouring concreteto the drainage foundation to form a concrete layer; and forming multiple holes, which correspondingly communicate with drainage openings in the top end of each row of drainage column, in the top surface of the concrete layer so as to form a porous permeable pavement with water reservoir so that the porous permeable pavement can be applied to a surface pavement to rapidly guiding rainwater to enter the water collection space in the bottom of the drainage foundation through the drainage openings.
