Abstract

Provided is an automobile beltline portion sound-insulating structure and automobile door glass used in the sound-insulating structure which improves the sound insulation state in an automobile to a high level when door glass is closed by suppressing intrusion of sound from outside the automobile via a beltline portion and occurrence of sound due to vibrations of the door glass itself, and which suppresses the sound of members that rub against each other while the door glass is being opened or closed. This automobile beltline portion sound-insulating structure comprises: an automobile door panel which has two panel boards facing each other and seal members in regions along the beltline of the facing surfaces of the panel boards; and a door glass which is disposed between the two panel boards in an openable and closable manner, and which has a door glass body and a viscoelastic member on the surface of the door glass body, the viscoelastic member sealing the gap between the panel boardsand the door glass body while abutting on the panel boards when the door glass is closed, the viscoelastic member having a static friction coefficient of 2.5 or less on the surface thereof which abuts on each of the panel boards.
