Abstract

Phycocyanin peptide can significantly improve the degree of fibrosis in pulmonary fibrosis model mice, protect the alveolar structure, reduce the inflammatory response in the fibrosis process, and reduce the collagen deposition in lung tissue. The results of in vitro experiments demonstrated that phycocyanin peptides could significantly down-regulate the collagen expression and epithelial-mesenchymal transition of human lung adenocarcinoma basal epithelial cells A549 induced by TGFβ1; Transformation of fibroblasts.
