Embodiment 1

[0154] 1. We use the S-V model to model the mmWave MIMO channel:

[0155]

[0156] where L is the number of scattered millimeter-wave beams, δ i Denotes the gain of the i-th beam path, θ i ∈[0,2π], represent the angle of departure and angle of arrival of the i-th path, respectively, and Denote the antenna steering vectors of the transmitting end and the receiving end, respectively, where i=1,2,...,L. Using a uniform linear array, and It can be expressed as:

[0158]

[0159] Where λ is the wavelength of the electromagnetic wave, and d is the antenna spacing. Assume that the number of paths in the space is L=10.

[0160] 2. Build as Figure 1 MIMO architecture shown. Let the number of transmitting antennas Nt=64; the number of receiving antennas Nr=64; the number of RF chains M=N=10; Ns=5.

Abstract

The invention discloses a hybrid precoding algorithm based on a gradient descent method, and particularly relates to a hybrid precoding algorithm for a partially connected phase shifter network in large-scale MIMO. The invention aims to independently optimize analog domain precoding under the condition that digital domain precoding is fixed so as to reduce the algorithm complexity. The method comprises two parts: 1, solving a baseband precoder and a combiner by using a least square method under the condition of randomly giving a precoder of an analog domain; 2, proposing an algorithm for solving the analog precoder and the combiner by using a gradient descent method; According to the gradient descent method provided by the invention, the algorithm complexity can be effectively reduced under the condition that the spectral efficiency is kept optimal, and the method has the advantage of rapid convergence. Meanwhile, the method is suitable for phase shifter networks with different resolutions, and the algorithm flexibility is higher.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of massive MIMO communication, in particular to a hybrid precoding algorithm based on a gradient descent method. Background technique [0002] With the continuous development of millimeter wave communication technology, great breakthroughs have been made in millimeter wave massive MIMO related technologies. The biggest feature of millimeter-wave massive MIMO is that it can transmit multiple data streams at the same time, effectively improving the signal capacity of the system. However, compared with the microwave system, the channel is sparse when the millimeter wave propagates. That is, the attenuation of the millimeter wave propagation is relatively large, and the power that can be radiated is relatively small. To overcome the attenuation in mmWave communication, precoding techniques are introduced in massive MIMO systems. [0003] Precoding is a technology that uses channel information to preprocess tr...
