Abstract

The invention provides a data harvesting method and device for decentralization of a scientific data sharing platform, and the device comprises a plurality of server nodes, any server node can be used as a data provider or a data harvesting party, and can be used as the data provider to publish metadata to a local data storage device based on an OAI protocol. The secure access of the metadata is controlled through the access control device; metadata may be retrieved from other data provider storage devices using the reaping device as a data reaping party. According to the invention, the server nodes execute management of the data access control authority through the access control device, decentralization of the data harvesting process among the server nodes is realized, the data acquisition efficiency is improved, and meanwhile, the data access is safer.
