Problems solved by technology

At this time, the data sent to the terminal 7 is mistakenly sent to the mobile router 5 and cannot be sent to the terminal 7
If a malicious user steals the mobile router 5 and uses it, there is a problem that the data sent to the terminal 7 is intercepted in a place away from the mobile network 2

no. 1 approach

[0133] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a network structure according to an embodiment of the present invention, and its structure is the same as the existing structure. However, the functions of the mobile routers 4 and 5 and the home agent 6 are different from those of the conventional example.

[0134] FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the structure of the mobile routers 4,5.

[0135] In FIG. 2 , the internal network interface 401 is used to perform physical layer processing and data link layer processing in communication with terminal devices connected to the global satellite communication network 9 and other routers. The external network interface 403 is used to perform physical layer processing and data link layer processing for connecting to access routers, base stations, access points, etc., which are connection points to external networks such as the global satellite communication network 1 . The packet transmission / reception / relay processing unit 402 performs relay o...

no. 2 approach

[0248] The second embodiment is the same as the first embodiment except that the home agent generates the key instead of the mobile router.

[0249] Here, only the differences from the first embodiment will be described regarding the configuration and operation of the mobile router and the home agent.

[0250] Fig. 15 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of a mobile router in the second embodiment of the present invention.

[0251] The difference from the configuration of the mobile router in the first embodiment (FIG. 2) is that there is no key generation processing unit (406).

[0252] In addition, the operation of the mobile router differs from the first embodiment only in the master mobile router registration process (step S304). Hereinafter, this master mobile router registration process will be described using FIG. 16 .

[0253] First, the location registration processing unit 404 reads the MNP from the MNP / key storage unit 408, further reads the address an...

no. 3 approach

[0286] This embodiment differs from the first and second embodiments in that each mobile router is a master mobile router that holds its own unique network identifier, and also operates as a secondary mobile router that shares the network identifiers of other mobile routers. .

[0287] Also, in this embodiment, the mobile router generates the key as in the first embodiment, but the home agent may generate the key as in the second embodiment.

[0288] Hereinafter, only points different from the first embodiment will be described.

[0289] FIG. 29 shows the configuration of mobile routers 4 and 5 in this embodiment.

[0290] Compared with the configuration ( FIG. 2 ) in the first embodiment, the point of difference is that the state management unit 410 and the state recording unit 411 are not included.

[0291] In this embodiment, since the mobile router performs both the functions of the primary mobile router and the secondary mobile router at the same time, the state managem...

Abstract

A first moving router (4) holding an MNP generates a key corresponding to the MNP and transmits a registration request packet containing the key to a home agent (6). The home agent (6) holds the MNP and the key of the first moving router and responds a registration permission as a main moving router. When the first moving router (4) receives this response, the first moving router (4) delivers the MNP and the key to a second moving router (5) in a moving network (2). The second moving router (5) which has received the MNP and the key transmits a registration request packet containing the MNP and the key to the home agent (6), so that the homeagent (6) registers the second moving router (5) as a sub moving router. Thus, it is possible to prevent an unauthorized acquisition of a packet destined to a moving network using the moving router sharing a network prefix (MNP).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a mobile network composed of a mobile terminal and a mobile router, and a registration method for the home agent of the mobile router in the mobile network system composed of a home agent managing the location of the mobile router. Background technique [0002] Currently, a technology for providing mobility of the entire network composed of movable terminals and routers has been discussed in the IETF NEMO-WG (Vijay Devarapalli et al., "Network Mobility (NEMO) Basic Support Protocol"). [0003] NEMO is a technology that allows data to reach a network (hereinafter referred to as a "mobile network") composed of mobile terminals and routers through a mobile router and a home agent that manages the location of the mobile router. In addition, the mobile router is connected to a global satellite communication network (global network) such as a mobile network and the Internet. [0004] In such a mobile network system, there is...
