first embodiment
[0022]Referring to FIG. 3 to FIG. 6, the present disclosure provides a modular cross-flow-fan device including a housing 1, at least two cross flow fans 2 and a motor 3. The housing 1 is strip-shaped and is an extruded aluminum piece. The length of the housing 1 is variable, not limited, and adaptable to the quantity of accommodated cross flow fans 2. For example, if two, three, four or five cross flow fans 2 are to be accommodated, then the housing 1 is formed with different lengths accordingly.
[0023]The housing 1 has a first wall 11 and a second wall 12. The first wall 11 and the second wall 12 are connected and are preferably perpendicular to each other such that a cross section of the housing 1 is substantially L-shaped, namely bent. However, the included angle between the first wall 11 and the second wall 12 can be altered to be 80 degrees, 90 degrees, 100 degrees, etc. A guiding portion 13 can be formed between the first wall 11 and the second wall 12. The guiding portion 13 c...
second embodiment
[0028]Referring to FIG. 8, the modular cross-flow-fan device of the present embodiment includes a housing 1, two cross flow fans 2 and a motor 3. A cover 4 shields the air inlet 14 of the housing 1. The cover 4 is disposed on the housing 1 by assembly. The cover 4 has a plurality of through holes 41. The structure of the cover 4 is not limited, and can be a grille, a mesh, etc. The cover 4 shielding the air inlet 14 prevents foreign objects from entering, thereby increasing safety during operation.
third embodiment
[0029]Referring to FIG. 9, only one motor 3 is employed in the present embodiment. The motor 3 is disposed inside the housing 1 and is fixed to the housing 1 by screws. The motor 3 is connected to the axes 22 of two of the cross flow fans 2 such that the cross flow fans 2 can be rotatably driven by the motor 3.
