[0003]The TamaJama Hospital Pajama / Gown is intended for hospital patients or any person that requires a PICC line, tube, wire or any kind of medical device that has to stay in or attached to the body for extended periods of time. In one aspect the pajama / gown is designed to fit over any of the said attachments allowing the patient to be clothed on all parts of their body providing comfort and privacy. This style of pajama / gown provides convenience over current hospital gowns particularly in children as the current gown is not able to be worn over medical devices in or on the body that have to stay in place for extended periods of time. Current pediatric hospital gowns open in the back but cannot adequately fit over a PICC line or any medical device in the arm that cannot be removed, because the front and back pieces of the gown cannot be detached.
