The invention belongs to the technical field of rice planting, in particular to a dry raising method for rice seedlings. The method comprises the following five steps of rice field selection and seedbed preparation, substrate preparation, seed soaking and germination, sowing and rice seedling management. Wood boards surround a seedbed. The upper end surfaces of the word boards are higher than the bed surface of the seedbed. A layer of wet and soft clay covers the bed surface of the seedbed. The clay is scraped flat at the thickness of 5-9cm and sun-dried for 1-2 days till the clay is not sticky on hands. Then, a rice seedling plate mold is utilized for printing seedling plate patterns on the clay surface. The seedling plate patterns are the same as those in the inner surface of a seedling nursery plate. Water leakage holes are arranged in a clay layer. A transparent thin film is utilized for setting up a rain-proof shed. The clay is sun-dried 25-30 days such that the clay is dried to be adobe. The adobe is like the seedling nursery plate. Material is selected on the spot. The manufacture is simple without cost. After transplanting of seedlings, the adobe can be automatically decomposed into mud used for planting crops after the adobe is exposed to the sun and rain. There is no need to recycle. The method is safe without causing pollution.
