Abstract

The invention provides a method for measuring downchain SIR of WCDMA system, including: (1) pilot symbols are extracted from data flow in a special physical channel, and pilot symbols of all paths are combined; (2) the incorporated pilot symbols are transfered to one quadrant; (3) signal power and interference signal power for calculating SIR are calculated, and SIR measured value is obtained according to the calculated power.
