Estimating error signals in a communication system may include determining a frequency error of a received RF signal utilizing a plurality of correlators, where one or more of the correlators may be fed with a carrier frequency of the received RF signal and a remaining portion of the plurality of correlators may be fed with one or more other carrier frequency. This carrier frequency fed to the remaining portion of the plurality of correlators may differ from the carrier frequency of the received RF signal. The received RF signal may comprise a primary synchronization channel (PSC) code for wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA).
