Embodiment Construction

[0033] In order to make the purpose, implementation and advantages of the present invention clearer, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0034] see figure 1 , introduces the basic framework principle of the method of the present invention—the method of reducing redundant messages by using node geographic location information. After the node receives the node location list of other nodes from the physical layer and the data link layer, it updates the node location list saved by the node at the network layer and sends it to other nodes through detection information and return information. At the same time, according to the location information of other nodes saved by the node, the neighbor nodes are screened, and the message is only forwarded to those neighbors whose location is close to the destination node. By reducing the number of intermediate nodes, the number of redundant messages is reduced, the...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method used for reducing redundant messages in a delay tolerant network and an intermittent connection network, belonging to the field of network communication technique; the method comprises the steps as follows: a source node queries a node neighbor list; if no destination node information exists, the message is temporarily memorized in a node buffer; non-empty nodes in the buffer periodically send exploration information and use the exploration information to exchange the message list and the node position list; when the exploration information sending node receives a return information, the carried node position list updates the node position list memorized in the local node; according to the updated local node position list, the message list included in the return information is updated; the node which receives the return information sends corresponding messages in the buffer according to the message list sequence included in the updated return information, and deletes the message which is successfully transmitted to the destination node. The method can effectively reduce the quantity of the redundant nodes, improves the performance of the whole network and prolongs the life period.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention generally relates to the technical field of network communication, and more specifically relates to a method for reducing redundant messages by using node geographic location information on a DTN or ICN network. Background technique [0002] Delay Tolerant Network (DTN) or Intermittently Connected Network (ICN) network is a kind of wireless network composed entirely of mobile nodes, with sparse distribution density of nodes and usually no persistent end-to-end connection. The mobile node is both a host and a routing function, responsible for discovering and maintaining paths to other nodes. However, unlike typical Ad Hoc networks, the data transmission in DTN or ICN adopts the asynchronous transmission mode of forward-buffer-forward (Forward-Buffer-Forward), that is, when the routing path is interrupted, the intermediate node will forward the message ( A data packet group composed of multiple data packets) is temporarily stored i...
