Embodiment Construction

[0027] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0028] The configuration of the hardware nodes used in this embodiment is as follows: the main controller adopts the MSP430 chip of TI Company, and the radio frequency chip adopts the CC2420 chip of TI Company. The external clock crystal oscillator of the main controller is 32768Hz, which can provide a clock accuracy of about 30μs. The software operating system adopted in this embodiment is TinyOS, and the version is 2.0. The hardware and software configurations of this embodiment are configurations of wireless sensor network nodes widely used in the world.

[0029] This embodiment uses as attached figure 2 The content of the uplink and downlink packets shown. Among them, the timestamp is represented by a 6-byte unsigned number, the unit is 1 / 65536 second, which is about 15 μs, and the maximum time span that can be represented is ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a time synchronization method of a wireless sensor network, which belongs to the wireless sensor network communication technology field, and has the technical scheme summarized as follows: convergent nodes in a network broadcast downlink time synchro control packet including per-hop adjustment quantity, sending time-stamp and cumulative downlink delay to common nodes in the whole network in a flooding manner; the common nodes generate an uplink feedback packet according to certain probabilities and upwards send the uplink feedback packet to the convergent nodes according to the opposite direction of a downlink flooding path after receiving the packet and adjusting the time, and the packet includes the sending time-stamp, cumulative uplink delay, hop count from source nodes to the convergent nodes and the cumulative downlink delay; and the convergent nodes calculate new per-hop adjustment quantity according to the uplink feedback packet received by the convergent nodes, and a new time phasing turn starts. Compared with the prior art, the time synchronization method has the advantages of rapid convergence, high precision, strong expansibility and controllable resource consumption.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a time synchronization method of a wireless sensor network. The invention belongs to the technical field of wireless sensor network communication. Background technique [0002] The wireless sensor network is composed of a large number of sensing nodes, which transmit information hop by hop through wireless communication, and cooperate to complete the information collection task of the covered area. The information collected by the nodes is sequential, that is, the user needs to know the time and sequence of the collected events. Therefore, wireless sensor networks usually must support time synchronization, that is, nodes have a global clock. [0003] Typical existing time synchronization technologies include RBS, DMTS, TPSN and FTSP. RBS (Refenence Broadcast Synchronization) (see J. Elson, L. Girod and D. Estrin. FineGrained Network Time Synchronization using refernce Broadcasts. Proc. 5th Symposium on Operating System Desig...
