The salicylic acid can be applied to performing seed soaking treatment before sowing vegetable seeds. The invention provides a vegetable fresh-keeping salicylic acid seed soaking solution simultaneously, namely an aqueous solution of the salicylic acid, wherein the concentration of the salicylic acid is between 0.1 and 100 mg.L<-1>.
