Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a display for eliminating color offset of dynamic images, which comprises the following steps: providing a test pattern which comprises a background color and a foreground color; acquiring the expected offset color generated when the display changes from the background color to the foreground color; acquiring a compensating color according to the expected offset color, wherein in a uniform color space, the expected offset color and the compensating color are respectively at the two opposite sides of an ideal color change line, and the foreground color and the background color are respectively at two ends of the ideal color change line; and compensating the color offset of the dynamic images of the display by the compensating color. By the method, color offset which possibly occurs when the display displays the dynamic images can be effectively eliminated, thereby further improving the displaying quality of the display.
