Abstract

A wiring device comprises: a wiring appliance holding plate and a wiring appliance, wherein the wiring appliance holding plate comprises a front surface, a back surface fixedly mounted to a mounting surface and an attached hole with a rectangular opening at the front surface, and the wiring appliance is provided with a body having a rectangular front surface and attached to the wiring appliance holding plate under the condition that the body is inserted into the attached hole. The wiring appliance comprises attached legs backward protruding along two parallel peripheral surfaces of the body. The wiring appliance holding plate comprises attached grooves to which the attached legs is connected, the attached grooves are formed on two inner peripheral surfaces which are opposite to each otherof the attached hole so as to extend in the anterior-posterior direction. A gap exposed at the front side of the wiring appliance holding plate is formed between each attached grooves and each attached legs.
