Abstract

The invention discloses a method for regulating and controlling the flowering period of a potted flowering peach, belonging to the technical field of flower culture. The method comprises the following steps of: selecting a potted flowering peach plant with full flower buds; refrigerating at 4-6 DEG C for 3-8 weeks to break the dormancy of the flower buds; and then carrying out flower forcing treatment. A flower forcing treatment method comprises the following steps of: placing under the sun for 12-14 hours every day at the illumination intensity of 3000-8000 lx; and placing in the dark for 10-12 hours every day, wherein the temperature during an illumination period is 20-25 DEG C, the temperature during the dark period is 8-13 DEG C, and the relative humidity is 65-85 percent. The potted flowering peach can be viewed and admired when the flower forcing treatment is continued till a flower bud is in bud or in bloom. The method can ensure that the potted flowering peach flowers 1-2 months in advance and has proper flower and leaf proportion, thereby greatly enhancing the ornamental value and the commodity value of the flowering peach.
