Abstract

The invention discloses a multifunctional mode switching method and an electronic device thereof. The multifunctional mode switching method comprises the following steps of: detecting the specific shape of a flexible plate of the electronic device by an induction device; and comparing the particular shape with corresponding data to enable the electronic device to perform a specific function mode, wherein the corresponding data includes corresponding relations of the specific shape of the flexible plate and the specific function mode, and the specific function mode which is performed by the electronic device corresponds to the specific shape according to the corresponding relations. When the flexible plate is flexed into the specific shape, a processor compares the corresponding data and enables the electronic device to perform the corresponding specific function mode.
