Embodiment Construction

[0018] figure 1 An electromagnetic assembly 10 is shown, which includes a housing 12 . The housing 12 consists of a magnet sleeve 16 and a cover 18 . Electromagnetic assembly 10 is formed symmetrically with respect to axis 14 , apart from cover 18 . A ring groove 20 extends in the outer surface of the magnetic sleeve 16 , into which a retaining ring 22 of the cover 18 engages.

[0019] A magnetic core 28 is accommodated in the magnetic sleeve 16 , in which the electromagnetic coil 26 is embedded. The solenoid coil 26 is energized via the contact pin 32 . The contact pin 32 is guided through a through-opening 34 of a housing part 38 . The O-rings 24 each seal the contact pins 32 in the through-openings 34 of the housing part 38 .

[0020] by following figure 1 It can be seen from the view that the O-ring 24 is pressed into the through-opening 34 of the housing part 38 in each case. according to figure 1 The O-ring 24 used by the solution tends to loosen, thus deteriorat...

Abstract

The invention relates to a magnetic assembly (10) of a solenoid valve, particularly for actuating a fuel injector, having a housing (12, 16) receiving a magnetic core (28) having a magnetic coil (26). Electrical contacts (32) are led through penetrations (34) out of the housing (12, 16). The electrical contacts (32) in the housing (12, 16) for supplying the magnetic coil (26) with current are attached by means of an adhesive connection (50).

Description

Background technique [0001] DE 196 50 865 A1 relates to a solenoid valve for controlling the fuel pressure in an injection valve control chamber of, for example, a common rail injection system for feeding a self-igniting internal combustion engine with fuel. The stroke movement of the valve body is controlled by the fuel pressure in the control chamber, and the injection hole of the injection valve is opened or closed by the valve body. The solenoid valve comprises an electromagnet, a movable armature and a valve body which moves with the armature and is biased in the closing direction by a valve closing spring, which cooperates with the valve seat of the valve body to control the fuel quantity from the control chamber. [0002] Common rail fuel injectors are known with a two-piece armature, the injector being operated by a solenoid valve. The armature applies the closing force to the valve ball in the absence of current. If the solenoid is energized, the armature moves upwa...
