Embodiment 1

[0013] Wash the fresh Artemisia annua and irradiate it under 10w UVA for 48 hours, spray benzoic acid once at the beginning of the irradiation, and then spray benzoic acid every 1 hour during the irradiation process, the concentration of benzoic acid is 0.1 μM. Keep the air humidity at 10% during the irradiation process. Artemisia annua after irradiation was dried in the shade. After the dried Artemisia annua was analyzed by HPLC, the content of artemisinin increased by 15.0% compared with the unirradiated Artemisia annua.

Embodiment 2

[0015] Wash the fresh Artemisia annua and irradiate it under UVB ultraviolet light with an intensity of 1000w for 0.5 hours, spray benzoic acid once at the beginning of irradiation, and spray benzoic acid again after irradiation, the concentration of benzoic acid is 100μM. Keep the air humidity at 100% during the irradiation process. The irradiated Artemisia annua was dried at 60°C. The dried Artemisia annua was analyzed by HPLC, compared with the unirradiated Artemisia annua, the content of artemisinin increased by 19.6%.

Embodiment 3

[0017] Wash the fresh Artemisia annua and irradiate it under 100w UVC ultraviolet light for 6 hours, spray benzoic acid once at the beginning of the irradiation, and then spray benzoic acid every 45 minutes during the irradiation process, the concentration of benzoic acid is 10 μM. Keep the air humidity at 30% during the irradiation process. The irradiated Artemisia annua was dried at 20°C. The dried Artemisia annua was analyzed by HPLC, compared with the unirradiated Artemisia annua, the content of artemisinin increased by 25.0%.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for increasing artemisinin content of Artemisia annua by using an active enzyme induced technique. The artemisinin content of the Artemisia annua is low at present, so extraction and refinement are difficult. The method comprises the following steps of: irradiating the fresh Artemisia annua after being cleaned under ultraviolet light, wherein the ultraviolet light is one or a combination of more of a UVA wave band, a UVB wave band or a UVC wave band; the radiation intensity of the ultraviolet light is 10 to 1,000 watts; the irradiation time of the ultravioletlight is 0.5 to 48 hours; air humidity is kept to be between 10 and 100 percent in the process of irradiation; spraying benzoic acid for once at the beginning of irradiation, then spraying the benzoic acid for once every 0.5 to 1 hour in the process of irradiation, wherein the concentration of the benzoic acid is 0.1 to 100mu M; and drying the irradiated Artemisia annua in the shade or baking theirradiated Artemisia annua, wherein the dry temperature is less than or equal to 90 DEG C. The method can greatly increase the artemisinin content of the Artemisia annua, and further can increase thesubsequent extraction and refinement efficiency.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of biopharmaceuticals, and relates to a method for increasing the content of artemisinin in Artemisia annua by using active enzyme induction technology. Background technique [0002] Artemisia annua is the aerial part of Artemisia annua of Compositae, which contains artemisinin. Artemisinin has a killing effect on the inner stage of erythrocytes of Plasmodium, and has the effect of rapidly inhibiting the maturation of Plasmodium. It is an ideal drug for treating dangerous malaria. Due to the low content of artemisinin in Artemisia annua (0.4-1.0%), it brings great difficulties in extraction and refining, which limits the development of artemisinin industry. Through the technology of the invention, the content of artemisinin in Artemisia annua can be significantly increased, and a good technical means is provided for solving the shortcoming that the content of artemisinin in Artemisia annua is relatively low...
