Abstract

The invention relates to a process for removing toxic and harmful components from herbal medicines and extracting effective components from the herbal medicines, in particular to a process for preparing non-toxic extractives from asarum heterotropoides, belonging to the field of pharmaceutical technology. The preparation process for preparing the non-toxic extractives from the asarum heterotropoides comprises the following steps of: decocting a whole asarum heterotropoides plant by using hot water for extraction; cooling filer liquor; adding HCl and NaOH to regulate a pH value; and removing the toxic components, i.e. volatile safrole and nonvolatile components, such as aristolochic acid and aconitine, nor-aconitine and the like, out of asarum heterotropoides medicinal materials and effectively retaining the effective components through the purification steps of cation exchange resin, anion exchange resin, and the like. The invention can simultaneously remove multiple toxic and harmful components contained in the asarum heterotropoides medicinal materials together, obviously shorten the production period and reduce the production cost; in addition, a detoxification process has the advantages of strong compatibility, simple process, low energy consumption and resource saving without environment pollution in the production process.
