Problems solved by technology

[0013] Since the implementation requirements of each network element of the pulse billing service are not specifically defined in the IMS domain, it is impossible to implement the pulse billing service for the analog users in the IMS system, which hinders the operator from realizing this type of pulse billing service. User access for free services

Embodiment 1

[0053] Such as image 3 As shown, it is a flow chart of an embodiment of the present invention to realize that a simulated user calls a SIP broadband user in the IMS domain, and it is that the above-mentioned pulse charging method of the present invention provides a pulse charging signal to UE after ringing and before answering by AS. In addition, other network elements are also required to provide support for the scene processing.

[0054] For the sake of simplicity, it is assumed that there is only one AS between the two terminals, and the relevant CSCF network elements are replaced by two CSCF entities CSCF1 (that is, the CSCF on the calling side) and CSCF2 (that is, the CSCF on the called side). The basic call steps are as follows:

[0055] Step 1-5: UE1 picks up the phone to initiate a call, AGCF initiates a session initial request INVITE to CSCF1, CSCF1 inquires and learns the AS to which the pulse charging user belongs, triggers the call to this AS, and AS routes the ca...

Embodiment 2

[0064] Such as Figure 4 As shown, it is a flow chart of another embodiment of the present invention to realize that a simulated user calls a SIP broadband user in the IMS domain, and it is an implementation of the above-mentioned pulse charging method of the present invention that sends a pulse charging signal to the UE after the response is provided by the AS , and require other network elements to also provide support for the scene processing.

[0065] For the sake of simplicity, it is assumed that there is only one AS between the two terminals, and the relevant CSCF units are replaced by two CSCF entities CSCF1 (that is, the CSCF on the calling side) and CSCF2 (that is, the CSCF on the called side). The basic call steps are as follows:

[0066] Step 1-5: UE1 goes off-hook to initiate a call, AGCF initiates a session initial request INVITE to CSCF1, CSCF1 inquires and learns that the user belongs to the pulse charging user and the AS to which it belongs, triggers this call ...

Abstract

The present invention discloses a method and a system for realizing pulse charging service in an IP multimedia subsystem. The method comprises that a function entity responsible for UE access triggers the callings to an AS containing the UE through a CSCF, wherein the calls is made from the UE to the user terminals in the domain of IMS; the AS performs the pulse charging service processing and sends an independent session initiation protocol(SIP) message with pulse charging information to the function entity responsible for UE access through the CSCF, and the function entity responsible for UE access generates pulse charging signal corresponding to the pulse charging information in the SIP message and sends the same to the UE. The present invention can overcome the obstacle to the realization of the pulse charging service, and is easy for realization, which provides guarantee and support for smoothly upgrading the network in a transition period to an IMS system.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method for realizing billing service in the field of Internet Protocol (IP, Internet Protocol) communication, in particular to a method and system for realizing pulse billing service in IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS, IP Multimedia Core Network Subsystem). Background technique [0002] IMS is an IP-based network architecture proposed by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP, 3rd Generation Partnership Project), which builds an open and flexible service environment, supports multimedia applications, and can provide users with rich multimedia business. [0003] IMS is an IP-based telecommunications network architecture and has nothing to do with access technology. In addition to providing services for packet access networks such as GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) and WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network, wireless local area network), it also provides It can provide services for mobile cellular networks such as GS...
