Embodiment Construction

[0075] figure 1 The packaging and application device 1 shown comprises a container 2 containing a composition P to be applied, in this example eyeliner, and an applicator 3 detachably fastened to this container 2 .

[0076] The container 2 comprises a body 5 which may be of any shape and which in this example is provided with a threaded neck 6 inside which a wiper 8 is mounted.

[0077] The applicator 3 may comprise a stem 10 carrying an elongated applicator end-piece 11 along a longitudinal axis Z, which axis may be rectilinear and, as shown, may for example coincide with the longitudinal axis of the device.

[0078] The proximal end of the rod 10 is connected to a handle member 12 which may also serve as a closure cap for sealing the container 2 when not in use. The handle member 12 is also shown in Figure 31 with Figure 32 middle.

[0079] figure 2 with 3 The distal end of the applicator is shown in more detail.

Abstract

The present invention relates to an applicator (3) for eyeliner (P), the applicator comprising a stem (10) and an applicator endpiece (11) carried by the stem: i) the endpiece (11) being of elongate shape along a longitudinal axis (Z); ii) the endpiece (11) including a flexible zone (33) that deforms while the applicator is in use and that has first and second dimensions dx and dy respectively along first and second axes (X and Y) that are perpendicular to each other and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (Z) of the endpiece (11), the first and second dimensions dx and dy being substantially equal; and iii) the endpiece including a head (32) extending the flexible zone (33), the head (32) being connected to the remainder of the endpiece (11) solely via the flexible zone (33), the headbeing flat in a plane containing the longitudinal axis (Z) and the second axis (Y), and measured parallel to the second axis (Y) having a maximum width (Lmax) that is greater than the second dimension dy.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a packaging and application device for eyeliner. Background technique [0002] Known eyeliner applicators comprise a stem provided at one end with an applicator end piece consisting, for example, of a generally conical tapered tip. This applicator is not easy to draw thicker or thinner lines. [0003] US patent US 7077592 describes an applicator which, thanks to its two tips, can draw thicker or thinner lines. However, it is very difficult to draw thick or thin lines because the tips tend to flare out from each other under the influence of pressure applied to the skin. [0004] French patent application FR 2890296 describes another applicator for applying eyeliner, the applicator end piece being formed by a flocked endpiece, a felt tip, or a tuft of bristles. [0005] US patent US 4974980 describes an eyeliner applicator whose tip forms a rotating cylinder. [0006] Applicators are also known comprising applicator t...
