Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a flow management method and a management device. The method includes the following steps: receiving the notification of requesting tokens sent by at least two single boards; and distributing tokens to a message queue to be dispatched according to the number of tokens requested so that the single board transmits messages in a message queue to be dispatched according to the distributed tokens, wherein the number of tokens requested by each single board corresponds to the number of messages needing to be transmitted in the message queue to be dispatched in the single board. The management device comprises a receiving module and a distribution module. The management device for concentrated flow management can be used for unified and concentrated dispatching of the flow in the single board of which the flow management is formerly conducted independently. Consequently, data streams that are distributed on different single boards and possibly interconnected can be uniformly and effectively managed to meet the requirement of flow management.
