Stream content customization techniques are described. In one implementation, metadata associated with an element is synchronized with the content stream containing the element. An element is configured to accept input to access related content that provides context for the scene in which the element is included. After outputting the related content, playback of the content stream is resumed from the point at which the input was accepted to access the related content.
