In the method, a field with higher terrain and good drainage performance is selected to serve as a culture field, a cage comprises an indoor part and an outdoor part, and the floor is cement or brick floor and is paved with sand soil with the thickness of 5cm. The indoor part is 4m in height, 4m in width and 3m in depth and is provided with a heat-insulating facility; and an outdoor part is provided with a larger sports ground which is 5m in both length and width, the periphery and a space above the sports ground are enclosed by using wire netting with the meshes of 2*2.5cm, and perches with the height of 1.8-2m are arranged in the sports ground. A brooding period is 2 months, the stocking density in a breeding period is 20-25 blue peafowls per 100 square meters, and the stocking density in a reproduction period is 12 blue peafowls per 100 square meters, wherein the proportion of the male blue peafowls to the female blue peafowls is 1:3.
