Embodiment Construction

[0027] figure 1 In longitudinal section, the inventive acoustic shielding device 1 is shown in modular form for shielding and absorbing nuisance noise, eg from road traffic, rail traffic, etc. The invention relates in particular to an acoustic shielding device 1 comprising a frame 2, preferably made of fiber-reinforced concrete, and a box-shaped noise absorber 3 mounted on the frame 2 . The module is designed such that multiple units can be placed in a row one after the other to create an integrated acoustic shielding. The fiber reinforcement preferably consists of synthetic plastic fibers in order to avoid the presence of electrically conductive material in the framework 2, whereby measures for electrical grounding of the modules become superfluous so that they can be omitted. Thereby, the future maintenance factor is eliminated as it would otherwise require inspection and maintenance of the ground at regular intervals.

[0028] Cassette 3 also consists of a completely non-...

Abstract

The invention relates to an acoustic screening device (1) for damping disturbing noise, especially such noise which arises from road traffic, rail traffic and the like, comprising a framework (2), preferably of concrete, and a noise absorber (3) arranged thereon, preferably fitted flat against the framework (2), and in which the noise absorber is configured as an exchangeable cassette (3) comprising a noise-absorbing mat (13). The invention is achieved by virtue of the fact that an air gap former (14) is arranged integrated in the cassette (3) behind the noise-absorbing mat (13) in such a way that an air gap (15) is formed between the noise-absorbing mat (13) and the framework (2), that the air gap former (14) is arranged to form a number of cells (16) or compartments between the noise-absorbing mat (13) and the framework (2), the cells (16) or the compartments being arranged to form substantially closed air volumes, and that the noise-absorbing mat (13) is arranged to be, at least to some degree, noise and air permeable.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an acoustic shielding device for suppressing nuisance noise, in particular such noise caused by road traffic, rail traffic and the like. In particular, the invention relates to an acoustic shielding device constructed as a module comprising a frame, preferably made of concrete, and noise-absorbing boxes arranged on the frame. Multiple modules can be placed in a row next to each other to create an integrated acoustic shield or barrier. Background technique [0002] Traffic noise from roads and railways has become an increasing problem in today's society, and especially for local residents, the environmental impact is often noticeable and very disturbing. Therefore, public figures and authorities demand effective measures. Annoying high noise levels need to be effectively suppressed, and a variety of techniques are currently in use. For example, excavated materials are used to build noise-suppressing roadbeds, and wooden or co...
